Week1: My Blog Theme
When I created my blog, I started with the default space station background that Blogger offered in its theme options. The futuristic design immediately caught my attention because it reminded me of a command center. Every time I log in to write, it feels like I’m sitting in my own space station, ready to reflect and stay focused. That type of environment puts me in my zone, which is exactly the kind of mindset I want when I’m working.
From there, I made some advanced customizations to make the theme feel more personal. I added teal and orange accents, which worked really well with the dark environment I customized. Blue has always been my favorite color, and teal brings that calming, focused energy I connect with. The orange adds vibrance and contrast.
These changes gave the blog the balance I was looking for. The darker tones keep the design professional and immersive, while the teal and orange accents bring life and energy to the page. Together, they create an environment that feels both futuristic and personal. It’s not just the default theme anymore—it’s something I adjusted to match my style and personality.
The blog theme also connects to how I approach things outside of class. Whether I’m at the gym or camping, I like to shut out distractions and stay focused on the task in front of me. The dark, space station theme with my custom colors gives me that same feeling. It creates a space where I can concentrate and feel motivated, just like I do in those other parts of my life.
Overall, I think this theme is the right fit because it combines the strong look of the background with the advanced customizations I made. By adding teal, orange, and extra black for depth, I created a blog environment that feels futuristic, vibrant, and completely my own, and I’m excited to keep building on it throughout the semester.

Hey Rudy, your blog does give very much futuristic, and I think its a unique theme that I personally didn't think of but I find it very cool. Something you mentioned that I really agree with you is that there has to be a balance and you added that your blog by adding different features which combined very well. I really like your blog and all the details.
